DELIVERED FROM DEPRESSION AND DIVINE ELEVATION
Sometime in 2019, I went to Lagos for a professional exam which was crucial to my promotion at my place of work. With so much spiritual and physical dedication, I passed the exam but was told that my being promoted depended on the existence of a vacant position which can only be influenced by a top executive.
So instead of promotion, I was demoted and transferred to Port Harcourt to work under a subordinate. I lost faith and was actually going towards depression but was encouraged by a sister to keep believing. I came for one of the Sunday services and was inspired by the word of God from the altar.
I started regaining my consciousness and faith and this encouraged me to be consistent in church. Ever since then it was as if each word from the altar was referring to my case and all burdens were being lifted. I had the opportunity of meeting the Residence Pastor at the airport sometime last year and he gave me his phone contact. Somehow, I knew I was going to need that contact in the nearest future and so I saved it as ‘emergency number’.
In March 2020, we were invited to Lagos for another round of promotional exercise and I quickly reached out to my “connection” (God, through the Resident Pastor), who baptized me with words and prophetic blessings. Although I passed the exam without stress, I was asked to call any dignitary to help me confirm my promotion.
I ignored that advice because for me, I had already called the Most High through his servant. On the 31st December, 2020, while on vacation, I received a congratulatory phone call from by boss that my promotion has been approved.
I give God all the glory for making this possible without any human influence.
